The brief text descriptions of all votes from 1848 to 2007 were originally published in 2010 in the «Handbuch der eidgenössischen Volksabstimmungen 1848–2007». The handbook was edited by Wolf Linder, Christian Bolliger, and Yvan Rielle, and was published by the publishing house of Haupt. In addition to the vote descriptions which are now available on Swissvotes, this handbook also contains chapters with background information on the institutions of direct democracy, the parties, and the politically relevant associations of Switzerland. You can order the handbook (in German) from the Haupt publishing house.
